Today, we’re announcing general availability of our multi-tenant Hyperquery instance hosted in Europe. Thanks to the hard work of our data infrastructure team, you’ll now be able to stay compliant with GDPR regulations by keeping your data in the EU.
Some additional details:
To get started, simply select EU residency during onboarding, and your data will forevermore live within our EU servers.
Will all of my data be stored in the EU?
All data that you pull into our platform through query blocks, any data that you upload to local file structures, and any data that you create on our platform will be stored in the EU.
Do I need to sign a contract to get started?
No, the EU residency toggle is completely self-service, so you can test out our functionality with real data on our Free, Team, and Business tiers. But we will be contacting you to eventually upgrade. 😉
Can I change this later?
Generally speaking, it’ll be difficult, so choose carefully. We can manually migrate your data between locations in exceptional cases, but there is no self-service migration functionality within Hyperquery.
Can I migrate my existing data to EU servers?
Yes, reach out to us, and we can set up this migration for you.
Stay tuned for more product updates!
